Dear Parents,

We hope this letter finds you well. This is a reminder that athlete tryouts for the upcoming sports season will be held on Tuesday, September 5th, immediately after school. We encourage all athletes to participate and showcase their skills as we form our teams for the season ahead.

To ensure a smooth and successful tryout experience, we kindly request that athletes come prepared with the following:

1.**Permission Slip/ Updated Physical**  Sports participants must have a permission slip signed by a parent/guardian in order to try-out. You can find that document here** As well as an updated physical form on file with the school

2. **Sneakers/Cleats(rubber):** Please have your child bring their own pair of sneakers or cleats suitable for the sports they will be trying out for. Proper footwear will help them perform at their best and reduce the risk of injury.

3. **Water Bottle:** Staying hydrated is essential, especially during physical activities. Please make sure your child brings a water bottle with them to stay refreshed throughout the tryouts.

4.**Soccer players should bring their own shin guards**

Field Hockey

Athletes who tryout for field hockey will be provided an approved field hockey stick and goggles.

Tryout Details:

- **Date:** Tuesday, September 5th

- **Time:** Immediately after school (Typically lasting from 2:45 PM to 3:55 PM)

- **Location:** 

Field Hockey(6th-8th)- Will meet in Mrs. Scherbon's room in the 8th grade wing.

Volleyball(6th-8th)- Will meet in the gym with Mrs. Pollack.

Boys Soccer(6th-8th)- Will meet in Mr. Codair's room in the 6th grade wing.

Girls Soccer(6th-8th)- Will meet in Mr. Walker's room in the 7th grade wing.

X-Country(5th-8th)- Will meet Ms. McCusker in the library.

- **Late Bus Option:** Athletes who participate in tryouts and require transportation home can take advantage of the late bus service. To facilitate this, athletes should know their home address to provide to the bus driver.

We appreciate your support in ensuring that your child comes prepared for the tryouts. Our coaching staff is looking forward to seeing the dedication and talent that each athlete brings to the field.
