Dear Students and Parents,

I hope this message finds you well and ready for an exciting new school year and sports season! As summer comes to an end, it's time to gear up for another year of learning, growth, and athletic achievements.

SMS offers a variety of sports for our 6th-8th grade students to participate in.This year all of our teams sports schedules and alerts will be broadcasted on our team website - http://smsrams.bigteams.com. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the site and make sure you create an account and sign up for text alerts so you are in the know as soon as any changes to the schedule are made.

A gentle reminder to parents: in order for your child to participate in any sports activities, a recent physical examination is required. Physicals are valid for 1 year from the date of being seen.This ensures the safety and well-being of all our students during training and competitions. Many nearby doctor offices provide sports physicals to students for free. If you are having trouble finding a location feel free to contact me and I will assist you. Additionally, please ensure that all necessary paperwork, including consent forms and emergency contact information, are properly filled out and submitted to me or the coach before try-outs. This paperwork is crucial for us to provide the best possible care and support for your child. Completed physical forms provided by the doctors office can be turned into me, or emailed to our school nurse Mrs. Sargent at jsargent@sau21.org. The permission to participate form can be found here. This form will also be available to students during the first week of school.
